What tools should an inker buy? 17 May 2012 Straightedges and Curves. These include t-squares (though I prefer a tool called straightedge which is basically a t-square but is tied on both ends by a wire that makes the edge go up and down), triangles, french curves, templates (circular, elliptical) and protractors. Tip on using the triangles and rulers: You can tape coins on the bottom to lift it off the drawing surface. This will prevent ink from seeping beneath the triangle when you use it with a quill or tech pen. - Gerry Alanguilan http://www.laguna.net/~timawa/tips.htm
