A little bit more about my work
The series shown on this web site is entitles "the flower garden" the works are inspired by meditation. The women are always looking away or at the viewer with a look of contemplation on their faces. I think they are all at peace.
The paintings are a meditation for me and the colours are chosen instinctivley.
They are often covered with a layer of Korean Hanji paper. The paper creates a haze over the image which adds to the contemplative effect.
of course this is just my impression, you are free to make your own opinions!
