July, 2008: 'The Three Day' - again! This time around I wss commissioned by another 'walker' to paint 'A Bridge to Cross' to commemorate Judith Beer's walk. She did much of her training walks in the UK - along misty paths and bridges in the early morning.

October, 2007: 'The Three Day - Dallas, 2007'
I raised the required funds to participate in this fund raising event by raffling off this painting: 'A Road to Walk' - 30x40" oil painting on canvas. Prints and greeting cards were made for further fund raising and thank yous.

PCPC Arts Festival - May 4-12, 2007
This Art Festival is hosting over 300 Paintings and Sculptures from Dallas/Fort Worth artists. All works in the festival are based on Psalm 23.
4101 Oak Lawn, Dallas, TX 75219
I am showing 4 art pieces in Watercolor!
The theme of each of my paintings is based on a real family who lost their mother. She left a husband and 9 children behind. My paintings illustrate a dad and 5 children who live out the truth of the Psalm, finding peace, protection, restoration,
and hope for their future.

ART SHOW
DOORS AND WINDOWS: LOOKING IN AND OUT OF LIFE
April, 2006: I hung my Annual Art Show with the focus 'Doors and Windows: Looking In and Out of Life' for the month of April. All of the art work was new, never having been shown outside my own gallery before. An Open House was held the first Sunday in April where there were 43 attendees. Then during the month I continued to meet interested persons at the gallery to give them a private showing. This show was my first at which I sold prints of my work.

From 'The Irving Journal,' April 1, 2006, Vol 3, No.7

May, 2006: I received an Honorable Mention on my large watercolor painting, 'A HOUSE ON THE HILL'
from Irving Art Association Annual Art Contest. This is a painting of my very own house where I have my wonderful Art Studio and Gallery! I truly endeavor for this house to be a 'light on the hill!'

NEWEST COMMISSIONS FOR ME TO PAINT!
June, 2006: Every year I am asked to do a new art project for Ann. She lives in a unique place - on an island! Washington Island, Wisconsin - a little dot on the map off the tip of Door County, Wisconsin. This is where Ann grew up with a Norwegian heritige of which she's extremely fond, and proud. Each summer she and her extended family, the Ellefson clan, celebrate with a family reunion. And at each of these Gatherings Ann brings a remembrance of the family's history. In the last 3 years Ann has commissioned me to paint a small 4x6" original painting:
2004 - The Ellefson Family Homestead
2005 - Washington Island Map with special family landmarks highlighted
2006 - Ellefson Family Dock - painting can be viewed on 'House and Car' page - The dock where the Ellefson fishing boats have docked since 1907.
For each of the above original paintings I made prints for each member of the extended family to hang in their own homes to tell the story of their heritage!
TESTIMONY: ...our Gathering is over - it went well and everyone loved the 'Ellefson Dock' original and prints...once again - a hit! Ann C

July, 2006: I attended the National Triumph Car Convention in Las Colinas, Texas and sold 4 paintings of my husband's TR3. (Sorry, Honey, I'll have to paint another for you!) I received a request at the convention to paint J and B's House they've lived in for 30 years. And they want they're Triumph car painted in the driveway, of course!
