AUTOBIOGRAPHY

I had always been interested in drawing, but never got very far with it.
After the birth of my 5th child, Mary, I began to make some headway with my art!

I am still in the process of raising a family of seven children! For many years I taught my children at home during which time I developed my interest and skill in drawing and painting. This big family inspired my focus on children, family and pets in much of my painting. My focus on ‘The Art of Motherhood’ certainly stems from my child raising years and now propels me to encourage young mothers with beautiful portrait paintings of them with their children – so much more than a photograph. A Painted Portrait is the ultimate recording of our loved ones, of our lives! My ‘Name Art’, too, is meant to encourage the child and the parent, the single and the married, in their daily walk through life. May these portraits and scenes refresh you in your walk through life and let you recognize God’s blessings all around you.

In addition to Portrait Paintings, I have expanded my art work to include paintings and murals of homes, vintage cars, vacation spots - ART all about the life we really live.
