A World within a world
Momentary vignettes, cameos
Everything
relating to time, not necessarily history, not
necessarily
feminist.
Modern
iconography transformed like a caterpillar to a butterfly.
My art, painted relief, uses the fluid medium of watercolors along with a base of handmade-recycled papier mache as well as a final tactile enclosure of clear varnish to make time
tangible.
My work at first isn’t abstract, in fact it begins in a high realistic state, only when it is transformed to sculpture is it then abstract, ‘Outside-r’ the normal and Conceptual.
They are poetry about life.

MyArt Skills Over the many fine years of tutilage, I have learned to work with all fine arts mediums, especially painting, sculpture and collage In the painterly arts, I have experience in various watermedia being tempera, watercolor, goache, casein and egg tempera. I have both taught these disciplines and have worked with them on my own. Another special discipline in the painterly arts, I have experience in is Figure painting in oils and acrylic. For oil painting, I have specialized in Kopal painting and impasto. I have also dabbled in encaustic and resin oil painting. In regards to acrylic painting, I have worked with all major brands and specialized pigments such as iridescent, interference and modeling paste. In my Interior Design exploits, I have experience in Glass window painting. The only form of glass painting I have experience in is surface applications, I have not firepainted glass. In the area of Sculpture, I have indepth study in the process and use of low relief in painting. I have used both conventional paper mache, modeling paste and sub-structure support systems. I have, on occasion also dabbled in figure sculpture. In the Area of collage, I have experience in both Photomontage and freeform collage.

I began my career as a figure painter working more or less with watercolors & goauche. As I grew over the years, abstraction became a natural state of evolution for me. To make an icon of momentary time needed much more than image upon or next to another image it needed surface it needed a greater presence, hence recently came the sculpture. I have always admired the artist who takes a bold & prolific step, this is what I have strove to do also.
