Art Category: I paint mostly with oils on canvas board, a few which are displayed here on this site.
I am a self taught artist, who has had no formal art training, unless you count one or two, life drawing classes I attended. I first became interested in using oils as a painting medium when still at high school, back in the mid-70s, but most of my paintings have been done in the past decade.
My Interests and Hobbies: Painting and drawing of course! I also own and ride horses - at the moment it's 2 mares. I also have 2 male cats I'm crazy about. I've always loved animals, they all have such unique charactars and often serve as a great source of inspiration for my artwork.
My Geographic Location: I live in the Far North of New Zealand, at a beautiful place called Doubtless Bay. My home, of the past 15 years, is on a hill top, which has the most wonderful, all round view, both of Doubtless Bay and the Oruru River Valley.
