FUTURE GOALS
To establish a career in Photography and Art and eventually earn my Master of Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in Photography in order to develop and work toward my own personal style in photography with mixed-media.
EDUCATION
1995-96 Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas. BA Studio Art/Photography. Graduated with Honors December 1996.
1993-95 University of Texas at Austin. Concentration - Visual Art Studies.
1992-93 Fayetteville Technical Community College. Concentration - Commercial Art/Advertising Design.
COMPETITIONS/AWARDS
1992 Department of the Army, Fort Bragg Level of the Inter-service Photography Contest. Awarded: Honorable Mention, Third Place, and two First Place awards.
1992 Department of the Army, FORSCOM Level of the Inter-service Photography Contest. "Man in the Shower" Awarded: First Place and Judges Choice.
1993 The Fayetteville Area Advertising Federation, Fayetteville, NC. "Man in the Shower" Awarded: Rising Star First Place Gold Award for Photography.
1996 Photographer’s Forum Magazine 17th Annual College Photography Contest. "Colleen" Awarded: Award of Excellence as a Finalist for the Best of College Photography Annual. Published, 1997.
2000 The International Library of Photography. Award of Excellence as a Finalist. "The Flower Lamp" published in the photography anthology "Dawn's Reflection" in August, 2000.
2000 The International Library of Photography. "The Slide" will be published in the photography anthology "Best Photo's of 2000" in November, 2000.
