Now the finishing touches are applies and the tissue depth markers are covered.

The final major element that was missing were her lips. Because she had no side teeth, her cheeks were sunken and that would also draw the mouth inward. In addition, she had a very small jaw and not a lot of space from the center of her lips to the bottom of her nose. All in all, this would indicate fairly thin and drawn lips. Usually the ends of the lips follow a line dropped down from the center of the eyes. I added wrinkles that would be appropriate to her age and health condition, applied some texture to her skin, and gave her some hair based on the hairstyles of the era.

There was still one more step in this process, and that was to make a mold and then a casting, adding color, some hair and a cap.
