The face has now begun to take shape. I am trying to keep the tissue depth markers in clear view at this point so I don't go astray, and I am still sculpting musculature as I go along.

At this point in the process she is starting to show some personality. It was time to rough out the nose and lips. As you may have noticed, the bone for the nose ends before the nose does!! We are able to use the existing bone to give us the slope of the nose and the width of the nasal cavity to exterpolate the total width of the nose. The eyelids are another example of the difficulties involved in this process since it is difficult to know their angle or droop. I used her age as a factor and gave her a slight droop in the end, but this is more intuitive than scientific.
